Jeanne Eliades Mailliard
Jeanne has been practicing yoga seriously since 2010. Her first yoga instructor was Melissa Meader at the Grange in Philo, who inspired Jeanne to go deeper into her yoga practice and study. She just completed her 250 hour basic teacher training in June 2015 with Mary Pafford and Cyd Bernstein at Studio SoBo in Boonville.
Jeanne's class is a Gentle Stretch Yoga done primarily on the floor, at the wall and using a chair. Her emphasis is moving slowly through the poses, working on pranayama (breathing), balance, and stretching all parts of the body while freeing the mind of distraction.
